The youngest son of a Minnesota patriarch whom the “Minneapolis Star” newspaper called a “pioneer,” Will Wright is an award-winning journalist and writer. He has produced and reported feature and issue-oriented audio stories for the Minnesota Legacy Amendment project at KFAI Fresh Air Radio, Inc and elsewhere.
His talent, habitual instinct for eloquence and flair with phrasing refreshes and impresses people!
Using skills in digital content production, digital audio editing, content management systems, news writing and more, he has produced and reported stories for the newsroom at the University of Saint Thomas, “Truth Be Told” at KQED Public Media and elsewhere. In addition, he has written for the StarTribune.com and “The Christian Science Monitor”.
He earned Page One awards from the Minnesota chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists in 2017 for “Minneapolis 1931: A Blitzkrieg of Bigotry” and another story. Before this, he earned a Bachelor of Art in Communications Studies from the University of Minnesota.
