His audio stories, “Minneapolis 1931: A Blitzkrieg of Bigotry” and “A Legacy Conversation about the Penumbra Theatre” earned Page One awards from the Minnesota chapter of the Society for Professional Journalists. While those stories give him pride, some listeners said they prefer the story about The Dandies Project, “Men Can Be Pretty, Too”.
